PARADIGM EXPO
Ruthika Mamidi
Biology Department Head
Ruthika takes a twist on science subjects such as genetics and bioinformatics, bringing out these concepts through a creative approach on experimentation. She caters her experience from her extensive work in TJHSST’s DNA and Neuroscience departments to introduce students to hands-on experiences with lab design and experimentation.
Jean Park
Computer Science Department Head
Through Jean’s diversified lesson plans consisting of step-by-step creative coding projects, students are guaranteed to be on the right track on their computer science journey. Jean takes inspiration from her extensive knowledge in the Artificial Intelligence coursework at TJHSST, and simplifies each concept to make learning approachable for every student.
Ebba Cha
Mathematics Department Head
Ebba is the head of the Mathematics department. She introduces students to a different approach to mathematics, rather than strictly formula-based learning, through a concept called Mathematical Modeling. Students are challenged with real-world problems that require a mathematical solution. Ebba’s Mathematical Modeling projects make use of concepts taught through TJHSST’s rigorous Research Statistics and Calculus coursework, condensed into easily graspable concepts.
Su Park
Robotics Department Head
Su is the head of the Robotics department. She carefully crafts innovative projects that inspire students to automate everyday tasks, one 3D model at a time. Su’s motivation for teaching students robotics comes from her meticulous experience in Computer Aided Design and proficiency in Arduino and fabrication at TJHSST’s Engineering department. She is applying her experience by conducting ongoing engineering research to make hearing accessible for everyone.
